Credit reference check statement


In order to proceed with your application, Livv Housing Group will use the information you provide to perform credit checks and confirm your identity. As part of this process, Livv Housing Group will search both your personal and business credit records as well as search the electoral roll to verify addresses.

The information held about you by the credit reference agencies, or other business information providers will be used to assess your application. If any adverse information is found against the business or directors, we may not be able to proceed with your application.

If any directors or the organisation itself, make further credit applications then Livv Housing Group may use the information recorded on your personal or business credit file to help us make a decision.

Livv Housing Group reserves the right to share your details with other companies within our group as well as fraud prevention agencies and regulatory bodies. Information held by fraud prevention agencies may be shared with other organisations to help them make decisions on other credit applications made by you, your organisation, your business partners or anyone in your household. The information we hold may be used for debt tracing/collection. If you are unable to repay an outstanding debt on time, we may inform the credit reference agencies who will make a record of the outstanding debt.

Livv Housing Group reserve the right to use the information you provide us for statistical analysis. The information will not be recorded on your credit reference file or impact your chances of obtaining future credit. The only other times your details may be used are if you have given us very specific permission, when required by law or where permitted under the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.

If you don’t become a customer of Livv Investment or any of the Livv Housing Group companies, we will continue to hold information about you for customer enquiries and legal purposes which will be in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation 2018.
